What we did
The job
The homeowner wanted filtered drinking water at the existing kitchen faucet without surrendering the whole cabinet to equipment. We installed an Aquasana Claryum direct-connect unit: supply off and drained, cabinet cleared and protected, housing mounted high enough to swap cartridges without pulling the unit, then a full flush and leak test before the cabinet went back together.
The problem
A homeowner wanted filtered drinking water at the kitchen tap without losing the whole cabinet to bulky equipment.
Our recommendation
A direct-connect under-sink filter tied into the cold line, mounted with cartridge-change clearance planned in from the start.
